01 Which ribbon fits which A-Series printer?
The A5100 color ribbon (100 prints) fits the A10. The A5300 color ribbon (300 prints) fits the A20, A30, and A40 Pro. The A5K20 black ribbon (2,000 prints) fits every A-Series model.
02 What software comes with the printer?
Every A-Series printer includes Bodno ID Card Software for Windows and Mac — card design, photo capture with the included webcam, and printing. Higher software editions add database connectivity, encoding, and more.
03 How does the trade-in work?
Get an estimate online, buy your new A-Series printer, ship your old one back with the prepaid label we send, and your credit is refunded to your card within 7 business days. Any brand qualifies, in any condition — one trade-in per new printer.
04 What warranty comes with the A-Series?
Every A-Series printer includes a 3-year warranty, standard. The A40 Pro is covered for 5 years through its included TotalCare™ protection program.
05 What does TotalCare™ cover, and what does it cost?
TotalCare is Bodno's 5-year protection program: a loaner printer while yours is repaired, repair turnaround under 3 business days on average, free 1-day shipping both ways, priority tech support, an annual remote check-up, and a 1-hour training session each year. It's included with the A40 Pro (a $599 value) and can be added to the A30 for $499.
06 Do I need single-sided or dual-sided?
If your cards only print on the front — names, photos, logos — single-sided (A10 or A20) is all you need. If you print on the back too — barcodes, policies, emergency info — the dual-sided A30 or A40 Pro prints both sides in one automatic pass.
