FAQ

01 What is this page for?

This page helps you check your Bodno license status and understand what to do next so you can get back to printing quickly.

02 How do I know if I have a USB License or an Activation Code?

If you have a physical Bodno USB dongle (it says “Bodno” on it), you have a USB License. If you don’t have a Bodno USB dongle, you most likely have an Activation Code (a digital code sent by email or shown in your order details).

03 If I have a USB License, do I need to keep the Bodno USB dongle plugged in?

Yes. With a USB License, the Bodno USB dongle must stay plugged in while running Bodno.

04 If I have an Activation Code, do I need to re-enter it every time?

No. Activation is typically done once. After activation, Bodno stays active on that computer unless the software is reinstalled or the computer is replaced.

05 My status shows “Expired” or “Suspended” — what does that mean, and what do I do next?

For both USB Licenses and Activation Code licenses, “Expired” or “Suspended” means the license is no longer active.

If you’re on a USB dongle license, this happens when the USB license reaches the end of its 5-year term. The recommended next step is purchasing an Activation Code license, which is the current licensing method:

06 Will I lose my saved designs or data if I switch to an Activation Code?

No — your templates, designs, and saved files stay on your computer. Switching licenses does not delete your work.

07 What should I send Bodno Support if I need help?

Email (support@bodno.com) with a screenshot of the status message and tell us whether you have a Bodno USB dongle or an Activation Code.
