About this product
Bodno Premium NTAG NFC Cards are contactless NFC cards made by Bodno with an NXP NTAG 213, 215 or 216 chip, sold in packs of 100. Use them for sharing links and contact details, Wi-Fi access, check-in, authentication and interactive marketing.
- NTAG 213: 144 bytes of user memory, suited to URLs, digital business cards and Wi-Fi credentials.
- NTAG 215: 504 bytes of user memory for larger data sets.
- NTAG 216: 888 bytes of user memory for richer data such as vCards and automation commands.
All three chips are 13.56 MHz NFC Forum Type 2 tags built on ISO/IEC 14443-A, with a unique 7-byte serial number (UID) and optional 32-bit password protection.
Phone and reader compatibility
NTAG cards can be read and written by most NFC-enabled smartphones and by NFC readers that support ISO/IEC 14443-A Type 2 tags.
Access-control compatibility
NTAG cards are not accepted by every access-control system. Many door systems use 125 kHz proximity cards (see our Nomativ proximity cards) or other 13.56 MHz credentials. Before using NTAG cards for door access, confirm with your access-control provider that your readers support NTAG 21x cards and how cards must be enrolled.

Which blank card do you need?
- Standard IDs: CR80, 30 mil PVC, credit-card size. Fits every printer we sell.
- Magnetic stripe: HiCo, 2- or 3-track, for time clocks, doors, and loyalty programs. Encoding needs a printer with a mag encoder and Bronze software or higher.
- Proximity: 26-bit cards for access control. Send your facility code and number range so they match your readers.
- Chip and NFC: SLE4442 chip and NTAG NFC cards for tap access and digital business cards. Encoding needs a printer with an encoder and Platinum software (Windows).
- Adhesive-backed: 10 mil Mylar that sticks onto prox clamshells to make them printable. Needs a printer rated for 10 mil, like the Fargo DTC1250e or Zebra ZC100.
- Key tags: PVC cards pre-cut into three detachable key tags, for memberships and loyalty programs.

To purchase proximity cards, you’ll need to provide the format (e.g., 26-bit), facility code, and card number range. This ensures compatibility with your access control system and prevents duplication.
What are 3-up key tags?
3-up key tags are PVC cards pre-cut into three detachable key-sized tags. They’re ideal for membership programs, loyalty cards, or access control, and can be printed with barcodes, logos, or member info.
What are the dimensions of Bodno’s standard PVC cards?
Bodno’s standard PVC cards are CR80 size—3.375" x 2.125"—with a thickness of 30 mil. This is the same size as a credit card, making them compatible with most card printers, holders, and accessories.
What’s the difference between 2-track and 3-track HiCo magnetic stripe cards?
2-track HiCo cards have two magnetic data tracks, while 3-track cards offer an additional third track for more data storage. Choose based on your encoding needs—3-track cards are often used for banking or advanced access systems.
What are Mylar adhesive-backed PVC cards and how are they used?
These are thin PVC cards with a peel-off adhesive backing. They’re commonly used to convert non-printable surfaces (like clamshell proximity cards) into printable ones by sticking the Mylar card on top.
