Questions

How fast do I get my activation code?
Within 15 minutes of your order, by email. The email includes the download links and step-by-step activation instructions.
What's the difference between Yearly, Monthly, One-Time and Lifetime?
Yearly and Monthly are subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. One-Time is one payment that covers 3 years and does not bill again; renew at bodno.com/products/renew when it ends. Lifetime is one payment and never needs renewing.
My printer came with Bodno software. Do I need to buy a license?
No. Every printer we sell includes Bodno ID Card Software, with a lifetime license on the A-Series and other top models and a One-Time license (3 years) on others. You only need a license here for another computer or a higher edition.
Which edition should we buy?
Bronze covers photo IDs with barcodes and magnetic stripes. Choose Silver to print a list from Excel or add QR codes, Gold for a photo database with automatic face crop and 2D barcodes, Platinum for RFID or smart card encoding and SQL databases, and Diamond to share one license across up to 16 PCs. Does it work on Mac and Windows 11?
Yes. Bodno software runs on Windows (including Windows 11) and macOS. The Diamond edition is Windows only.
Can I use one license on more than one computer?
Each license is for one computer. To print from more computers, buy another license for each one. Diamond is the exception: one Diamond license covers up to 16 PCs on the same network.
Does upgrading my edition also renew my license?
Yes. When you upgrade, your activation code moves to the new edition and is renewed for 3 more years. You keep the same code, and nothing needs to be reinstalled.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Contact support and we'll help you move your activation code to the new computer.
Can I pay by purchase order or tax-exempt?
Yes. Click Send yourself a quote on any edition above to get a quote by email, then send it with your PO to sales@bodno.com and we'll process the order. Tax-exempt organizations send their exemption form once, and their account checks out tax-free after that.
Are updates included?
Yes. Every edition and every license type includes free software updates.
Does Bodno store my card data?
No. The software runs on your computer. Your card designs, photos and databases stay on your computer or your network.
