How Bodno collects, uses and protects your information.

This Privacy Policy explains how Bodno ("Bodno," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit bodno.com, buy from us, call or email us, or use Bodno ID card software. Bodno is located at 411 Boulevard of the Americas, Suite 110, Lakewood, NJ 08701, United States.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, request a quote, start a free trial, create an account, sign up for emails or contact us, we collect your name, organization, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, purchase order details, tax-exemption documents you send us, and anything you include in your messages.

Payment information. Card and PayPal payments are processed by our payment providers. Bodno does not store full card numbers. If you pay by check, ACH or wire, we keep the payment details needed to apply and record your payment.

Order and license information. We keep records of what you bought, your software edition, license term, activation codes and renewal dates so we can deliver, activate, support and renew your products.

Calls and support. Calls with our sales and support team may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and to keep accurate records of what was discussed.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our site we and our service providers collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site and the actions you take, using cookies, pixels and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • Process and ship orders, handle payments, invoices, purchase orders and tax exemptions
  • Deliver, activate, renew and support software licenses and printers
  • Provide warranty, TotalCare, repair and return service
  • Answer questions, send quotes and follow up on requests you make
  • Send order, shipping, license and renewal notices
  • Send marketing emails and texts if you have signed up or where the law allows; you can opt out at any time
  • Understand how our site is used and improve it, our products and our service

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:

  • Service providers who work on our behalf, including our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, shipping carriers (such as FedEx), email and SMS marketing, customer relationship management, phone systems, subscription billing, analytics and IT providers
  • Manufacturers and repair partners when needed to fulfill a warranty or repair

We use cookies and similar tools to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, measure site traffic, understand how visitors use our pages and measure our advertising. Some of these tools are provided by third parties such as Shopify, Google and Microsoft. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site, such as the cart, may not work without them.

Marketing choices

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, reply STOP to marketing texts, or email us at contact@bodno.com. You will still receive messages about your orders, licenses and service.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, to receive a copy of it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To make a request, email contact@bodno.com or write to us at the address below. We will verify your request before acting on it and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We may keep information we are required to keep by law, such as order and tax records.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our products and services, support your licenses and warranties, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our site and products are intended for businesses and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
