Zebra ZXP Series 7 Single-Sided ID Printer

Print Batches Fast

The ZXP 7 prints a full-color card in about 12 seconds. It achieves this speed by having 3 cards in the lineup at all times and using high-capacity ribbon that was design specifically for high-speed printing. A 200-card input hopper facilitates the fast speeds.

A Snap to Operate

This high-performance printer is remarkably simple to use. The printer automatically detects card thickness. Easy-to-load ribbons are recognized instantly by the printer, and a 21-character LCD display informs you of printer status and alerts. Plus, a manual feeder easily supports on-demand printing.

Enjoy Vibrant, High-Quality Images

The ZXP 7’s fast speeds do not detract from the quality of its images—expect images with almost photo-like quality. Enhanced printhead and ribbon technology delivers excellent image quality for a direct-to-card printer. Paired with high-performance ribbons, you get rich, near-photographic results at a fraction of retransfer cost. (Like all direct-to-card printers, it leaves a thin unprinted border at the card edge.)

Print Securely with Physical Locks

A Kensington physical lock slot secures your printer. Optional lockable enclosures and card feeders increase the security of your card issuance program.

Enjoy Ethernet Connectivity

Do not limit your ID card printing to one station. Print from multiple computers or stations with Ethernet connectivity.

Meet your Business Needs—Now and When You Need To

The ZXP 7 offers a robust variety of options that can be added to the printer now or as your business evolves. The following optional upgrades can be added at the time of sale or in the field by a technician to add security and performance to your ID card program.

Optional Dual-Sided Printing

Switching to dual-sided printing is as easy as a switch of a ribbon--and takes virtually a few seconds. Print additional information - like a barcode or digital signature - on the back of the card.

Optional Encoding

Add security and functionality to your cards by adding smart card, magnetic stripe card and proximity card encoding.

Optional Wi-Fi Capability

Don’t limit your ID card printing to your office only. Print from your laptop anywhere, anytime with the optional Wi-Fi accessory.

Optional Wasteless Laminating

Increase card durability and add a virtually forgery-resistant layer of protection to your cards by laminating them. Wasteless laminating is environment-friendly, and reduces laminating costs by 30%.

Plus, Choose High-Capacity Ribbon Options

Choose high-capacity ribbon options for printing larger batches. High-capacity ribbons increase productivity and reduce costs by printing double the amount of images per roll.
