Which printers does the Seaory 69011 Color Ribbon fit?

Do I need a ribbon and a retransfer film?

Yes. The R330 and R660 print onto a clear retransfer film and then bond the film to the card, so every card uses both. Pair the 79051 retransfer film with a 69051 color ribbon or a 39101 black ribbon.

What does Error 73 mean?

The printer cannot detect the retransfer film. Reseat the film holder, check the film is wound straight and in the same direction it came out of the box, then try a fresh roll. More: R330 and R660 film errors and poor transfer.

Why does the print scratch off my chip cards?

The transfer is not bonding. Switch the retransfer setting to User defined, lower the speed by 2, raise the temperature by 2, and wipe the cards with alcohol before printing. Never go past +3 on temperature. If it still lifts, slow the speed further instead.

Should I clean the printer when I change the ribbon?

Yes. Take out both the ribbon and the film, run a cleaning card (Menu → Printer Setting → Clean Tool on the printer screen) and wipe the printhead with the swab. The CC002 cleaning kit has everything you need.

How long do color ribbons last if unopened?

Unopened ribbons can last 18–24 months when stored properly. Keep them sealed in original packaging, in a cool, dry place away from sunlight or humidity to preserve print quality.
