To get your Bodno software code you register the printer with two things: its serial number and the order number you bought it with. Here is where to find the serial number on each printer, and what to do when the form says "Order not found".
The serial number is on the label on the back or underside of the printer. "Order not found" almost always means the order number was typed differently: use the Amazon order ID with its dashes, or your Bodno order number, and set Purchased From to the store you bought from.
Where the serial number is
| Printer | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Most printers | The label on the back or underside of the printer |
| Bodno A10, A20, A30, A40 Pro | The label on the back or underside of the printer |
| Seaory S25, S26, S28 | The label on the back or underside of the printer. Some have two barcodes; use the one marked as the serial number (S/N) |
| Magicard Pronto | The label on the base. 8 digits, or a mix of digits and a letter |
| Magicard 300, 400X, 600 | The label on the printer. 8 digits |
| Evolis (Primacy, Zenius, Badgy) | Printed on the technical test card: hold the button 4–5 seconds until the light goes out, then press and hold again and let go when the light flashes (about 4 seconds on a Badgy). Also shown in Evolis Print Center |
Seaory printheads have their own serial number that you type into the printer driver. That is not the printer serial; registration needs the number from the printer label.
When it says "Order not found"
The message reads "Order not found; email Orders@Bodno.com or call 732-987-5300 for further assistance." It means the order number did not match an order. Check these:
| Cause | Fix |
|---|---|
| Amazon order ID typed without dashes | Type it exactly as Amazon shows it, like 111-2223334-4445556 |
| Purchased From is set to the wrong store | Pick Amazon for Amazon orders and Bodno for bodno.com orders |
| A purchase order, invoice or tracking number was entered | Use the Amazon order ID from the packing slip or Your Orders, or the order number from your Bodno confirmation email |
| Bought on Amazon outside the US | Email us the Amazon invoice and serial number |
| Printer was a gift, or bought by someone else | Check the packing slip in the box for the Amazon order number, or ask the buyer for it. Our Amazon help page has a message you can send them. Or email us the serial number and organization name |
| Already registered, for example on an old computer | No need to register again. Use Find my activation code |
| Registered, but the code email never came | Check spam or junk, then use Find my activation code |
Bought on Amazon? The order number is printed on the packing slip in the box. Our Amazon help page walks through every step, and the full walkthrough is in getting your code after an Amazon purchase.
Send these and we will register it for you
If the form still will not take it, one email with these is enough.
- A photo of the serial number label
- A screenshot of the order confirmation or invoice
- Your name, email and phone, and the organization name if there is one
