Retransfer printers like the ZXP 9 print images directly onto HDP film, then fuse the entire image directly onto the card surface, avoiding the misalignment that can occur with direct-to-card (DTC) printers which print images in multiple passes. Retransfer printing also lets you print over the edge of the card and up until the contact chip on smart cards, avoiding the white border that you get with DTC printers. The ZXP 9’s retransfer technology is enhanced by its exclusive Color Predictive Technology, which intuitively adapts its settings to get you the sharpest image possible.
Never Worry About Forged or Scratched Cards
Cards produced by the ZXP 9 are virtually forgery-resistant, since its high print quality is almost impossible to replicate. What’s more, the photo gets totally destroyed when someone attempts to peel it apart. These cards are also more durable than your standard ID card, since the HDP film adds a layer of protection.
