Rely on This Workhorse

The Zebra ZXP 1 was built to last for a long time. Hold the printer to get an idea of just how robust and rugged it is. The exceptional warranty (2-year printer and printhead warranty + 1-year hot swap loaner coverage) signals IDP’s confidence in the printer—and gives you reliable, steady printing.

Experience Uninterrupted Printing

The ZXP 1 prints consistent images without the interference of broken ribbons and jammed cards that is so common to entry-level printers. And its 100-card input and 50-card output hoppers let you work as the printer does without having to continuously load and retrieve cards.

Enjoy No-Compromise, High-Quality Prints

Enhanced printhead and ribbon technology gives you truer edge-to-edge and photo-like image quality than other entry level ID card printers.  At the same time, you get the affordability of an entry-level printer.

Easy for Anyone to Use

The input and output hoppers are both located at the front of the machine, so you can load and issue cards easily.  The ribbon-cassette snaps in easily on top, and is recognized instantly by the printer with no configuring necessary on your part. The 16-character LCD display lets you know of print status and alerts.

The ZXP 1’s compact footprint—just 9.3”H x 7.9”W x 13”D—fits perfectly on the smallest of desks or counters. Its lightweight design makes it portable—so you can easily print cards at your next corporate event.

Optional Ethernet Connectivity

Single Sided ID Card Printer

Single-sided ID card printers are specifically designed to print on one side of an ID card at a time, offering an affordable and practical option for smaller businesses and organizations that require lower volumes of ID cards, around 200 cards per year. These printers are typically more cost-effective than their dual-sided counterparts, making them an ideal choice for those with budget constraints.

However, it's worth considering investing in a dual-sided printer upfront for several reasons. As your organization grows and requires more advanced features, a dual-sided printer can save you from having to upgrade your single-sided printer later on. Dual-sided printers offer increased efficiency, faster printing times, and the ability to store more information on a single card. Additionally, they provide a more professional appearance and can reduce the need for multiple cards, ultimately saving on material costs.

In summary, while single-sided ID card printers are a cost-effective, space-saving, and versatile option for businesses and organizations with lower volume ID card requirements, it may be worth investing in a dual-sided printer upfront to meet your evolving needs and save on future upgrade costs.

Highly disappointed

We received our machine but are unable to use it. For a new machine, it came with a defective ribbon. We are still waiting for a replacement and it has been a week. I paid $1200 for a machine that I am unable to use.
